Starbucks Spring 2016

Starbucks Store Promos

Starbucks In-Store Spring '16

Changing seasons are one of the bedrocks of the Starbucks experience. The ever-shifting store landscapes reflect yearly changes in both environment and customer desires. The 2016 Spring promotions valued the delicious elegance of Starbucks honeyed drinks, while reflecting the varietal flavors of Spring itself. Working with fellow designer Jimmy Balch, we developed this look for the in-store experience. I worked on custom chalk type, illustrations, and layout.

Banners and Signage

The two-sided 4 foot banners create a larger than life appeal to the senses. Balancing enticing product photography, hand-drawn illustration, and iconic chalk typography, we want the customers to know that there will always be something to suit their tastebuds– no matter the weather, no matter they're mood.

Door Cling and Menu

These subtle design elements are carried through layers of the store experience, starting with the the door cling (see above), and ending when you order from the display menu (see below). Hand drawn cups, ice cubes, and steam reinforce the unique options available in the Starbucks offering.
