Hi I’m Jenica. I’m an experienced multidisciplinary Chicanx designer living on the unceded ancestral lands of the Duwamish people. For the last fewyears I’ve been working with Committee for Children as the lead designer on their digital social-emotional elementary curriculum, Second Step. Since graduating from Seattle Central Creative Academy in 2014, I’ve enjoyed time working in-house for 8ninths AR/VR studio, Starbucks Global Creative, and Sasquatch Books– on everything from print promotion to website creation.
After moving to the PNW over 15 years ago, I immediately became enamored with its trifecta of bike culture, music community, and magnificent landscape. In my work I continue to express an enthusiastic sense of imagination and vision… while in my free time slowly learning Spanish, watching YouTube, attempting to BMX, painting, or playing guitar.
